I. What is System Monitor on aaPanel?
System Monitor on aaPanel is a built-in feature in aaPanel that we will not need to install from an external source.
With System Monitor on aaPanel, we can monitor CPU resources, Load Average, RAM, Disk I/O and Network I/O. And the log storage time can be saved for as many days as you want, depending on your needs and the default log retention period of this feature is 30 days.

II. Enable the System Monitor feature on aaPanel
To enable the System Monitor feature, we follow these 2 simple steps.
Step 1: Access the admin page aaPanel
To access the aaPanel admin interface, we access the link http://IP:8888 on the browser. Remember to replace IP to the addressIP of your aaPanel server.

After accessing the aaPanel admin page, we continue to step 2 to enable the System Monitor feature.
Step 2: Enable the System Monitor feature on aaPanel
Enable the System Monitor feature is extremely simple, you go to the Monitor section on the feature list.
Then toggle the ” Turn on Monitory ” button.
As soon as you enable it, the charts will not have any information. After about 30 minutes, the charts will appear with detailed information.
After about a day, your chart will be as detailed as the one near the top of this article. In addition, you can completely view the chart of yesterday, yesterday, the last 7 days, the last 30 days or a specific time period with ” Custom time “.
To increase or decrease the time to save the log, we just need to enter the number of days you want to save in the “Number of days to save” box and select Modify to save the configuration.
Note: The higher the time, the more logs are left on the server, the more storage space is taken up.
You can completely hover over the chart to see the details of resource usage at different times.
With System Monitor, you can quickly find out the main cause of your website being slow at some point.
