Restoring SEO Hosting package data will be very useful if your website is inserted with malicious code, interface error, or many other cases. Currently, all Hosting services of AZDIGI support automatic data backup every day, divided into 7 different versions corresponding to the last 7 days. In this article, AZDIGI will show you how to restore the entire data of the hosting package or a part of the data on the SEO Hosting package.
To restore data on the SEO Hosting package, you first need to access the “Backup Manager” feature as shown below. And choose one of the following 2 ways to suit your needs.
Method 1: Restore the full SEO Hosting package data
After accessing the “Backup Manager” feature on Directadmin, you will see an interface similar to the image below:
Let me explain some points to pay attention to in this interface:
- Number 1: List of times of source code data backups. To restore files or folders, you choose number 1. When choosing the timelines at 1, you will get the interface below corresponding to 3,4,5.
- Number 2: List of times of the most recent database backups. Similarly, when you select the timeline in box 2, you will also see a list of databases with the corresponding time.
- Number 3: List of folders/files in the backup, you selected in number 1.
- Number 4: Last modified time.
- Number 5: Actions with these folders/files: Restore – Save to original folder – Download to the personal computer.
To restore the entire Host SEO package, we will choose the action to restore all the folders. When the restore button is clicked, the progress will appear as shown below:
After the restore process is complete, the status will be displayed as follows:
After you have restored all the folders, you need to restore all the databases to the corresponding time. To restore the database, you choose the corresponding time as shown below:
After selecting the appropriate time, the database list will be displayed right below.
Here we choose to restore all displayed databases. You can choose to restore multiple databases at once, the restore process is long or fast depending on the size of your database. If the size is less than 100MB, the restore process should not take more than 2 minutes for a database.
So you have restored the entire SEO Hosting package.
Note: If you get a 404 error after restoring, scroll down near the bottom of this article to see how to fix it.
Method 2: Restore a website in SEO Hosting:
